Students participated in a discussion on summer safety rules and stranger danger.

Students learned about career clusters and participated in a game where they had to answers questions about different types of jobs and the tools they use.
Week of April 4
Students watched a video where they learned six different strategies on what to do if they are getting picked on.
Week of March 21
Students played a game called 'Come On Six' where they had to keep under control in a stressful dice game.
Week of February 21
Students watched a video adventure where the characters learned a variety of strategies on how to not stress about doing homework.
Week of January 31
Students participated in a team work activities where they had to make paperchains. We added a challenge to the task where they could only use one hand!
Week of January 18
Students learned about our digital footprint and how everything we say, like, post, comment is our digital trail. We talked about the importance of making good smart choices online with a variety of situations.
Week of Dec 13
Students went through a variety of situations and had to decide if it was a secret that was okay to keep or if it was one that should be told to a trusted adult.
Week of Nov 1
Students participated in two listening activities where they learned the importance of not only listening with their ears but also paying attention with their eyes.
Week of Oct 18
Students talked and learned about what it means to make positive, healthy choices. There always is a lot of questions and some story sharing during this type of lesson. I always encourage students ask questions to their parents.
Week of September 27
Students were given information on Student Council Elections. They also had the opportunity to explore a wide variety of coping skills they can use when they are feeling big emotions.
Week of September 13
Students talked about Homecoming some traditions our community does to celebrate being Tea Titans! We talked about how we all can come together to build great things by sharing ideas with one anther. All students in the school colored a block that was incorporated into this piece of art that is displayed in the lunch room!
Week of August 23
Students were welcomed back to the GOLD room and went over the student referral process and GOLD google classroom. They ended their lesson with an activity where they had to try different strategies to achieve a certain result.
