I was born and raised in Riverside. I attended Peralta Elementary, Mission Middle and Rubidoux High school before moving and graduating from Martin Luther King high school. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside and went on to receive my Master's in Education and Teacher Leadership from National University. 

I am a first generation student and educator who is genuinely passionate about motivating and inspiring other first generation students to do more with their lives :) It is HARD out there!

I truly enjoy working with the youth! Prior to teaching, I worked with AVID students at King HS as an AVID tutor. I also worked with the City of Riverside during the summer-time. I was responsible for the youth Summer Camp, as well are working with lifeguards and different park pools.
