How to get a SAT and/or ACT Fee Waiver
If you would like to obtain a SAT/ACT fee waiver please see Mrs. Merino or Ms. Garcia.

You can obtain a fee waiver if you are eligible for any ONE of the following requirements listed:
A. Enrollment in a TRIO Upward Bound program (UCR or RCC Upward Bound)
B. Enrollment Verification Letter for the Free or Reduced-priced Lunch Program
C. Enrollment in the CalWorks, CalFresh/SNAP, HUD, or other public assistance program(s)
D. Your parent's current 1040 Income Tax forms indicate that your family is under the annual income limits (Ms. Merino/Ms. Garcia will assist you with these USDA income guidelines)
***PLEASE NOTE: SAT and ACT SCORES ARE OPTIONAL FOR UCs and CSUs. SAT or ACT scores will not be considered for admissions purposes by the UCs or CSUs. If you choose to take the SAT and/or ACT and you choose to report scores on your UC or CSU application, your scores may be used for course placement purposes.
It is your responsibility to verify if SAT or ACT scores are required for any other colleges or universities that you wish to apply to.
