Volunteer Job Description
Position Overview:
Assist library staff with a variety of projects to enhance community services
Responsibilities:
Clean & shelve library materials.
Straighten shelves, computer stationms, Storytime Room & Community Room.
Maintain a clean and organized library.
Assist program coordinators with library programs and preparations.
Assist staff with additional assignments as needed.
Somes assignments require the ability to lift heavy boxes.
Training/Support:
Orientation training provided by the Volunteer Coordinator.
Additional training and support from staff as necessary.
Qualifications:
Age 13 or older.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work well independently and with others.
Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
Commitment:
A commitment of 10 hours or more , in total.
Weekly hours flexible, set with Volunteer coordinator at the time of orientation.
