Responsibilities:

My name is Lisa Boschma, and I am the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. My goal at Rubidoux High School is to build relationships with the students, the staff, and the community, so we can work together to provide engaging learning opportunities that best fit our students’ educational goals and visions for their futures. I believe as educators we have the power to change young lives, and that we can have a positive impact on the students we work with every day. I have been working in education for twenty-three years and have truly enjoyed serving the students and families I have worked with. I began my work as a para-professional educator serving elementary students in an intervention program, and later, worked as an instructional aide in special education for three years. In 2004, I graduated from Chapman University and received my master’s degree in teaching. I taught math at the middle school and at the high school. In 2014, I received a master’s degree in educational leadership and began serving as an assistant principal. For the past four years, it has been my privilege to be the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Rubidoux High School. I truly enjoy working at Rubidoux High School, and feel we have a great community of staff and students working to provide the best education has to offer.

I have lived in the Riverside area for most of my life, and have five children and nine grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with.
