I am a product of the Jurupa Unified School District attending Sky Country Elementary, Jurupa /Mira Loma Middle School, and Jurupa Valley High School.  I have worked in JUSD for a number of years in a variety of roles such as: after school program supervisor, instructional aide, substitute custodian, delivery truck driver, an athletic coach in a variety of sports(football, baseball, basketball, tennis), and for one summer a school nurse. I love the community of education and the family environment.

I attended National University to obtain a Bachelor’s in English degree, my teaching credential, and a Master’s in Strategic Communications degree. I have also earned my Career Technical Education (CTE) credential in Arts, Media, and Entertainment allowing me to teach Tv/Video production, graphic design, theater, and photography.

I have created and advised the Rubidoux Video Production (R.V.P.) program since 2011. In the years of its operation, I have instructed and guided students to consistently and professionally produce a daily 10-minute live news broadcast, in addition, to live streaming athletic contests, graduation ceremonies, and other various community events.

In 2018, I was awarded the honor of District Teacher of the Year. But my greatest honor and accomplishment is the role of husband and father to my amazing wife (2019 JUSD Teacher of the Year) and my 5 joyful children. I am always looking forward to the future and embracing life; the greatest adventure.
