Agriculture Teacher

FFA Advisor

I was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. I found my love for horses at the age of 10, while taking riding lessons on Camp Pendleton and then later found my love for FFA and agriculture at El Camino High School. I was an active member of my school’s FFA chapter, served on the officer team, and raised many livestock projects. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Agriculture Science from Cal Poly Pomona as well as my teaching credential in Agriculture Education. Before teaching, I worked in several areas of the agricultural industry including county fair livestock departments, Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance, and as a ranch hand/riding instructor on a horse ranch for a few years.

I have been teaching Agriculture at Rubidoux High School since 2017 and could not be more thankful for this community. I feel extremely fortunate that I get to share my love of horses and agriculture with over a hundred young people each year! One of my favorite things about my job is seeing a student gain confidence from learning to halter, lead or ride a horse! I also love teaching students to be leaders and confident public speakers through FFA.
