One Day Workshop / sanitization program held on 22nd Nov, 2020 for launching of Institutional incubation and innovation centres in degrees Colleges of J & K. The workshop touched the areas

INNOVATIVE IDEAS
INNOVATIVE IDEAS contest held from December 2020 to February 2021.
· The Contest was held to provide a platform to our young minds to show case their innovative ideas. We invited innovative and novel ideas from the students belonging to all Govt. Degree Colleges of UT of J & K and also other young mind across UT of JK.
· Ideas invited from areas: Handicrafts-traditional Technologies/ Energy Conservation/ Horticulture and Agriculture / Food Processing /Grassroots innovation/ New Projects and Services/ Traffic Management etc.
· Prizes offered
· 10000, 8000 & 5000 respectively for first three winners in hardware category.
· 8000, 5000 & 3000 respectively for first three winners in software category.

MOU was signed with CRAFT Development Institute Srinagar on 15 July 2021.
The objective of the MOU envisages infrastructural support and services of Skillful personnel and mentoring of novel ideas in the field of handicrafts, their design element and value addition by CDI Srinagar to such idea holders and aspiring entrepreneurs among students of this College and the Students of our allied spoke colleges of district Bandipora and Ganderbal. The MOU also envisages providing service and support to local population of the Downtown Srinagar in the field of Handicrafts, their design element and value addition.
To Inculcate a nurture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture
To Inculcate a nurture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture in our Students, an Online webinar was held on 30 August 2021 on the Theme “INNOVATION WHY AND WHAT OF IT”.

Established Islamia College of Science & Commerce, Srinagar, as Institution Innovation Council (IIC) during IIC Calendar year 2020-2021.

Activity an Offline/ Online one-day Seminar
Under IIC council Activity an Offline/ Online one-day Seminar titled Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Kashmir Prospects and Challenges was held on 26 march 2022.

Creation of Innovation Club in the College.
Innovation Club of college Students was created to act as a bridge between the Innovation Centre of the College and students of the College. The members of Innovation club would act as an ambassador for the activities of the Centre.
SUCCESSFUL FAILURES: HOW LEADERS INNOVATE
To give members of Innovation Club an opportunity to get face to face with innovation Culture Activities, an Offline Special session was held, titled "SUCCESSFUL FAILURES: HOW LEADERS INNOVATE" on 25th April 2022.

Students Entrepreneurs: Ruksaar Khan, Sehar Hakak, Fadak, Tamjeed and Faiziq presented their ventures and apprised the audience about their enterprises and sought help from experts of EDI to tackle issues like seed money, prototyping, finance, patent etc.
Around 150 students joined the Programme.
