Report on Cleanliness Drive at Islamia College

A Cleanliness Drive was organized in the college campus on [insert date] under the banner of the National Service Scheme (NSS). The drive was aimed at promoting awareness about hygiene and sanitation among students and fostering a sense of responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness in the campus environment.
The event was formally inaugurated by the principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf and NSS program officer Dr Nusrat parveen. Prof. (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf emphasized the importance of cleanliness as a shared civic duty and appreciated the enthusiasm of the NSS volunteers. She highlighted the role of youth in bringing positive changes to society, starting from their immediate surroundings.
The NSS Program Officer, Dr. Nusrat Parveen, also addressed the students and motivated them to actively participate in the drive. She spoke about the significance of cleanliness under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and how small efforts at the grassroots level can collectively make a big impact.
The event witnessed active participation of senior faculty members, NSS volunteers, and other students. Various areas of the campus, including classrooms, corridors, lawns, and the college surroundings, were cleaned during the drive. Volunteers were seen sweeping, collecting waste, and placing it in designated disposal bins.
The cleanliness drive not only contributed to a cleaner campus but also inspired students to adopt cleanliness as a habit in their daily lives. The event concluded on a positive note with a renewed commitment to continue such efforts in the future as well.
