Safer Internet Day

On Eve of ‘Safer Internet Day’, NSS Unit-III of Islamia College of Science and Commerce organized a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop on 11/02/2025 to educate students and faculty members on online safety and digital security.

The event started with explaining the PPT under the theme “Together for a Better Internet” by Prof. Nofiya Yousuf. She provided valuable insights into cyber threats, password management, secure browsing, and preventive measures. Her engaging session included real-life examples and interactive discussions, making it highly informative on the occasion

Following this, Prof. (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf, Principal of the College addressed the attendees, emphasizing the growing importance of Cyber-Security. She highlighted the risks of phishing, identity theft, and cyber fraud, urging students to adopt strong digital security practices.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSS Program Officer, Dr. Nusrat Parveen, who appreciated the contributions of the speakers and the active participation of Volunteers and faculty members. NSS Unit-III reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar awareness programs in the future.
