Speech Competition Held on Constitution Day
Islamia College Of Science And Commerce Celebrates A Speech Competition In Relation With The 75th Year Of The Adoption Of Indian constitution to honor the significance of the Indian Constitution. The event aimed to spread awareness about constitutional values, fundamental rights, and duties among students. It was held in the college Conference hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.
It was held in the presence of Principle Dr. PROF TEHMINA YOUSUF, And Program Officer of NSS UNIT III Dr. Nusrat Parveen. The event included Prof. Irfana as the judge and with her immense analysing skills, the event was successful .The principal delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the need to respect and protect the Constitution.
The competition featured 4 participants, each delivering a speech on topics related to the Constitution. Participants were judged based on content, clarity, confidence, body language and the way of speaking. The audience, comprising students and faculty, listened attentively and applauded the thought-provoking speeches. The event was hosted by Ist sem students, Sumaira Bashir and Zainab zehra.
The participants included :
Rutba who spoke on the topic Importance of constitution
Khalood speaking on citizenship and its importance
Samia shabir with the topic Fundamental rights and duties
Mahrul hassan who spoke on Need for Amendments
 After a tough competition, the winners were announced:
1st Place: Mahrul Hassan
2nd Place: Rutba
3rd Place: It was a draw between Samia And Khalood
