Entrepreneurship Awareness Program 

A daylong event on Entrepreneurship Awareness Program was jointly Organized by IIC of Islamia College in collaboration with JKEDI, Srinagar.  The program was attended by large number of students, faculty and non-teaching staff of the college besides students entrepreneurs of the college, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Jhat introducing the theme of the program and its importance in contemporary times. Principal of the College Professor (Dr.) Tehmina Yousuf presented the welcome address and underscored need of innovation and entrepreneurship skills among student community. Professor (Dr)Tehmina apprised the students that entrepreneurship is way forward for them in today’s changing and challenging jobs and economic scenario. Ms. Syed Miftah Zahoor, JKEDI, Srinagar gave a marathon presentation. Student entrepreneurs of the college, Ruksaar Khan, Sehar Hakak, Fadak, Tamjeed and Faiziq presented their ventures and apprised the audience about their enterprises and sought help from experts of EDI to tackle issues like seed money, prototyping, finance, patent etc. Q/A session was moderated by Mr.  Aijaz Ahmed Mulla, Aga Syed Waahid & Ms. Syed Miftah Zahoor from JKEDI Srinagar. Dr. Nusrat Parveen NSS officer Unit-III of the College coordinated the session.
