Course Description: 

 Aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Biology introduces students to major concepts including: cells, biochemistry, genetics, ecology, and human biology.  Research skills are developed through projects and inquiry activities.  Students will be expected to work safely in a laboratory setting, cooperate with other students to work on projects, and assist fellow classmates in developing higher order thinking skills.
