Course Description: 

Algebra I is the foundation for high school mathematics courses based on the U.S. Common Core State Standards. It teaches basic skills of manipulating, solving, graphing and applying algebraic equations and inequalities. It introduces students to basic algebraic concepts which are then explored in further depth and reinforced in Algebra 2. Real world applications are presented within the course content and a functional approach is emphasized.
