Grading & Transcripts

In middle and high school, percentages are converted to the appropriate letter grade for reporting.  Grades are calculated based on the grade which is converted into a Grade Point Average based on the U.S.American system using a 4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) scale (see below).

Students will receive a report every term indicating their grades and equivalent GPA. Their school-issued IPS transcript will include their overall cumulative GPA.

Upon graduation, grade 12 students will receive two transcripts. One will be issued directly from the school including all courses taken across grades 9-12. The other will be issued from the Ministry of Education documenting coursework from grades 10-12.
