Course Description: 

Calculus exposes students to a range of mathematical skills which are used in the context of everyday situations and in other subjects. They will analyze problems logically, recognize when and how a situation may be represented mathematically, and select an appropriate mathematical method to solve problems. In addition, the course will provide a foundation in mathematics appropriate for their future studies at any university. The topics that will be covered include: functions and limits, differentiation and its application, integration and its applications, logarithmic and exponential functions, vectors, sequences and series.
