WHOLE SCHOOL
Dear IICS Community,
During the last month we have had multiple exciting events that took place on and off our campuses starting with Back to School Days, the annual Fun Run, Hisar Picnic, Grade 6 Trip as well as all the Secondary trips. I want to take this opportunity to thank our parents and staff for their dedication and their support as we continue to create wonderful experiences for our students at IICS.
As part of our continuous improvement plan, we made some upgrades regarding campus security on both campuses. Earlier this year we provided ID Cards for all our staff and parents. Starting next week, all visitors will be required to provide a photo ID at the front gate in order to receive a visitor’s pass to have access to our campuses. We are also collaborating with the Regional Security Officer of the US Consulate as their valuable consultation and advice help us improve our security protocols and practices. Additionally, we will continue to have members of our educational and operational teams welcoming students during arrival time and assisting during dismissal every day. Please know that the safety of our community is our highest priority and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions regarding this important matter.
At IICS, we utilise a centralised communication system (SMS) to effectively communicate with our entire community during an emergency. Figen Underdown, Executive Assistant to Head of School, will be running a TEST early next week to ensure all our community members receive the information immediately. We want to thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
Kind regards,
Nicolaas Mostert, Head of School
Future Facilities Master Plan Worksop will take place on Friday, October 13th at the Marmara Camps from 9:00 am -12:00 pm. More information will be shared early next week.

News from the Food Committee
We are happy to announce that we are introducing new breakfast snacks that were proposed by Sardunya and voted on by our students from different age groups. Last week the Food Committee had several meetings for Menu improvements for this year that we hope will meet all the major needs and preferences of our kids! This year we have a multinational community in our Food Committee, hoping to bring the best choice to our daily Menu.
The Food Committee is open to new constructive suggestions, so please contact us if you have any.
