Enrollment Fee Payment

We would like to remind you that the Enrollment Fee payment for the 2024-25 Academic Year is due by April 30th, 2024. Please share your re-enrollment decision in the OpenApply system for the upcoming academic year. This information is important for our academic and general planning for the upcoming school year.

Considering the high demand and limited space, we kindly request that you complete the payment and share the receipt with Ms. Eser Romano. This will secure a place for your child/ren at our school for the 2024-25 Academic Year as we begin enrolling applicants on our waiting list.

Meet Our New Hires 2024-25

We're thrilled to present our newest recruits to the IICS teaching team. They will offer a lot of expertise and energy, which will undoubtedly improve our students' learning experiences. You may read their brief biographies here.

Flag Parade

Join the IICS community, including students, parents, family members, and staff, for a day of unity celebrating national specialties. Enjoy food tables, fun activities, art auction and national baskets auction, as well as flag parade. It is an opportunity to proudly represent all our countries! Primary Peek of the Week

Dear Hisar Families -

Our end of year celebration of Young Author's Day will occur in June (date to be announced), but before we can celebrate we need to create… and we need your help! Please reach out to ptavphisar@iics.k12.tr to volunteer to help our students make books.

Next week Grade 3 and 4 at the Marmara campus will begin their MAP Growth Assessments for Spring. Please read our letter about the assessments Map Letter.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

Dear Secondary Parents,

We hope this message finds you well. This week's Secondary section is dedicated to our beloved seniors, who have just said farewell to their official journey at IICS.

To ensure that their last two days were truly memorable, we organized special activities for the seniors and their parents. Yesterday, our seniors stayed after school to take part in the tradition of preparing their "senior pranks" for the following morning. They then enjoyed dinner on campus, followed by a heartwarming activity around a bonfire, complete with roasted marshmallows.

Today was equally special as we hosted the seniors and their parents for a barbecue lunch, bringing everyone together for a joyful celebration. The highlight of the day was the senior assembly, where students from grades 9, 10, and 11 joined in as well. It was a time for our seniors to share funny memories of their time at school, along with their interactions with our dedicated faculty. In turn, our faculty replied in kind with some of the humorous moments they've shared with our students over the years.

Finally, we came together to share a graduation cake with our seniors and their parents, and a token gift to cherish the bonds we've built throughout their journey at IICS.

We would like to extend our sincerest wishes to the Class of 2024 for success in their upcoming final exams and beyond. We look forward to sharing their successes and capturing precious moments from their graduation ceremony on May 24th.

IICS Community Parents’ Event

Do you have low back pain or a frozen shoulder? Do you struggle to have better posture? Do you feel like as you get older your body is falling apart? Do you not have the energy you once had? Open PTA Meeting

Dear Parents,

The PTA at IICS will soon have openings for various positions within our team. As some of our members prepare to leave, we hope we can encourage new members of our IICS community to take their spots. . Our goal in the upcoming months is to welcome new parents who are willing to volunteer their time and expertise to continue the exceptional work done by the PTA each and every year.

We invite you to an informative session hosted by the PTA on Wednesday, April 24th, from 12-2 pm at the Marmara campus. During this session, we will provide detailed information about the available positions, their respective duties, and the time commitments involved.

Our PTA thrives on the active participation of dedicated volunteers like you. If you are keen to be part of this vibrant community, kindly register for the open PTA meeting on the 24th. Your involvement is valued, and we look forward to welcoming you on the team!

International Day Update

We will be having our third of many opportunities for you to purchase your single entry ticket for the upcoming International Day Event at IICS. This time we will be selling tickets at next weekend's TISL Middle School Volleyball tournament at the Marmara campus at the Booster table, April 26th-27th. Come cheer our teams and support your IICS Dolphins! Please bring cash and the exact amount would be greatly appreciated.

Single day pass this year - 500 TL per person (under 5 free)

The fashion show this year is being organized by primary students. If there are any parents whose child may want to participate please contact Greta Hazlett and she will provide you more information. If there are any brave parents who may also want to participate in the fashion show you are most welcome to join the show…
