Tuesday, April 23rd, we commemorated Children's Day, a special occasion dedicated to celebrate the value and rights of children worldwide. This tradition traces back to April 23, 1929, when the Turkish Grand National Assembly declared it a national holiday following Atatürk's proposal.
In honor of this significant day, our Primary students have organized a small presentation with their Turkish Language Teachers, Ms. Esra Sagol and Ms. Emine Karatas in the foyer at the Marmara Campus. They have poured their hearts into showcasing their hard work in Turkish classes. Through this presentation, they aim to express their gratitude and share what being a child means to them.
Congratulations Ms. Sagol, Ms. Karatas & Primary Students!

You probably heard that about 60 percent of the body is fluid, no wonder staying hydrated is crucial for our health. With the increased water expenditures in spring and summer, stakes get higher.
Here are some tips to keep you and your child hydrated throughout the day:
Ensure children have a drink before school, breakfast, and several after school. Make serving a glass of water with meals a habit.
Keep the water within eye sight; pouring it in a beautiful jug or glass would make it more attractive to a child.
Include high-water-content foods (such as fruit, vegetables, yogurt, milk, other dairy products, and smoothies) in a kid's snack and overall diet.
Add ice, slices of fruit, or berries (or even frozen berries) to jazz it up a bit and make the water look more appealing.
And of course, children learn by example—start with yourself, act as a role model, and always drink enough water.
