PHC Parts Apprenticeship/Work Experience

PHC Parts are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice Technical Sales Advisor who has the ability to multi-task and offer help to other staff members, as well as liaising with new and existing customers.

You will need to be polite and have the ability to pick up processes quickly, including: receiving and storing stock in a warehouse environment, technical requirements and parameters of products that are sold. You will be working with the computer sales operating system, handling customer enquiries in our showroom and trade counter environment as well as corresponding by email and telephone.

As an Technical Sales Advisor you will have the following daily duties:-

  • Advising customers

  • Processing orders

  • Receiving stock and locating in warehouse

  • Showroom and Trade Counter upkeep and branch household duties

  • Additional projects to include working with Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Attending and helping with trade professional events

  • Increasing existing customer base

Working week

  • 40 hours Mon-Friday, plus every third Saturday morning on a rota basis

  • Total hours per week: 40.00

  • Willing to learn and work as a team

Qualifications required

Applicants for this role should ideally have GCSEs in the A*-D range, including Maths and English (or equivalent).

Training to be provided

  • City & Guilds Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner (or equivalent)
