Welcome to the Powys County Council ALN team google site. Here you can find information on the provision, support, and guidance offered by the ALN team.
What We Do
The ALN team is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act (ALNET). As part of our responsibility, we have created useful guides to support schools, families, and other professionals which you can find on this site. We also complete assessments, respond to referrals and requests from schools, and answer questions via phone or email through a helpdesk called the Tyfu Gateway. You can find more detailed information in the various sections of this Google Site by clicking on the above green buttons.
