Road to War

Colonists believed that they deserved every right of a British citizen. This meant trial by jury, representation in parliament, and due process of the law, to name a few. When Parliament passes laws to tax the colonists directly without a voice on the matter, colonists resist a variety of ways and eventually fight the American Revolution.
