The question for this lesson is not as straightforward as it may seem. The word "how" requires some thought about the changes that occur over time.
Consider what manufacturing and trade was like before the resources of the Americas were discovered.
Next, consider what it took for each country to situated themselves as the controllers of those resources.
It's important to remember a few of the trade goods traveling to and from each region. Think about how geography affects what comes from a region to help remember the examples.
