You are not limited to those pictured or listed. Gather what you can to get started and then add as needed. You do not need to have exactly everything on the list below. Don't have something? Improvise!

Grab a container (bin, basket, or box) to store your Maker Kit items for easy access. Customizing your container to keep items organized. Think safety in your design so you don't injure yourself when grabbing a tool.

  • Design notebook (graph paper)

Home Inventor Kit

Home Inventor Kit featuring the Grove Inventor Kit for micro:bit and two micro:bits

A Home Invention Kit has been prepared for you to use during home learning inventions. Your teacher will inform you about how you will get a kit. Each kit contains the powerful and inexpensive BBC micro:bit single board computer, sensors, actuators, wires, and more. Kits may vary from from photo above. Check the inventory list for items included in your kit.

These kits are loaned to you for the duration of a course and will be returned to school after the course is complete.
