Hanging Room Divider - 2B Class
As a class, you will design, fabricate, and display a panel array that tells the story of the Chinese Zodiac. The array will be hung in the IDEA Studio window for visitors and passersby to view.
Lanterns - 2A & 3A Classes
As a class, you will design, fabricate, and display lanterns that depict the story of the Chinese Zodiac. The lanterns will be designed to be displayed throughout the MS Office and other HKIS offices.

Read the story of the The Great Race. How might we create a depiction of the story using modern tools of fabrication?

With a partner, brainstorm ideas of how you might depict the story.
PARTNERS: Sketch a storyboard array of your shared ideas
LARGER GROUP: Join three other partnerships and learn about their ideas
WHOLE: Meet as a whole class to discuss ideas and come to a final decision about overall project outcome.
