SafeSchools (Vector Solutions) is a web-based third-party program used by HCPS to provide mandatory compliance training for employees. The SafeSchools training modules required of employees each school year are made available on July 1, to be completed by September 30. Employees hired after September 30 must complete training within 30 days of hire.
Upon login to SafeSchools, the employee dashboard will display the training modules the employee must complete. SafeSchools affords the flexibility for employees to complete training off-site, however non-exempt employees must complete training during work hours.
SafeSchools is accessed at https://henricoschools-va.safeschools.com/login.
To login, employees use their current HCPS email address and password. When inputting the email address, do not include "@henrico.k12.va.us". For example, John Doe's email address is jjdoe@henrico.k12.va.us. The login will be jjdoe.
SafeSchools is a web-based program that is accessible with an Internet connection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is compatible with all recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Explorer, Safari, iOS, and Android. Despite the accessibility, occasionally users may experience difficulty loading their training.
