Happy Monday Everyone!
Click here for The Blackhawk Beat.
It’s been another incredible week at Harwood, and our Blackhawks continue to make us proud! From giving back through the Black & Blue Food Drive, to showing maturity and respect on the 9th grade Holocaust Museum field trip, and celebrating our undefeated 7th and 8th grade football teams, there’s so much to highlight.
Looking ahead, the excitement keeps building—our 9th grade band takes the field at Pennington this Friday, the Choir’s inaugural concert debuts next week, and we’re counting down to Homecoming with Class Color Day, the Homecoming Dance, and decorated buttons. Don’t miss the upcoming theatre performance of Alice Through the Looking Glass or the chance to get involved in our many student clubs, including the brand-new Harwood Dance Club.
Scroll down for highlights, upcoming events, and important reminders to help keep your student connected and engaged.
Black & Blue Food Drive: It’s time for the Black and Blue Food Drive... Harwood's big competition against other schools to help feed families in our community! This isn’t just about school pride…it’s about making a difference. From now through October 3rd, bring in non-perishable food items or cash donations and turn them in to your second period class. Every can, every dollar counts toward helping those in need and showing that Blackhawks can rise to the challenge!
9th Grade Holocaust Field Trip: Our 9th graders travelled to Dallas to the Holocaust Museum today. They were complimented by the museum for their awesome behavior.
7th and 8th grade football UNDEFEATED: Our 7th and 8th grade football teams are undefeated! Come out next week and pack the stands to beat Euless!
