Tomorrow is the big day—the first day of school—and we could not be more excited to welcome our students back! This will be your one email for the week, but moving forward, you can expect one email from me per week on Thursdays (unless something is time sensitive). All schedules are now live on HAC.
Need help accessing your student’s schedule? Step-by-step instructions can be found in the Helpful Resources on The Blackhawk Beat. . You can also find information there about free and reduced lunch applications.

8:00 AM: Doors open for students not eating breakfast.
Tutorials: Begin Thursday at 7:45 AM. Students must have a pass to attend.

Pictures
Students will take their ID and yearbook photos during science class tomorrow—dress to impress! Student IDs are mandatory this school year so we must get updated pictures as soon as possible.

7th graders who did not receive their laptops at Hawk Camp will get them during their English Language Arts class.
Arrival and Drop-Off
Please remember our new traffic pattern. Parents must drop off by the gym. Only busses and parents with an orange tag (given out by administration for special programs) are allowed through the front circle drive.
First Period Adjustment
Tomorrow only, students will go to their 2nd period class first. Class lists will be posted at:
Bus entrance
Parent drop-off entrance
Cafeteria windows
Library windows
Staff will also have lists for quick reference.
HAWKS Talks
We’ve linked the expectations and celebrations presentation that will be shared with students on Friday. Please review it with your student ahead of time so they are ready to start the year strong—expectations will be in place from Day 1.
Let’s make this the best school year yet—Go Blackhawks!
