Celebrating a Great Week!

What an incredible week at Harwood! Our 8th graders kicked things off by winning the first 6-weeks spirit contest. This month’s competition focuses on no tardies, positive office referrals, and college shirt Wednesdays—let’s keep the momentum going! Originally we had our fall dance scheduled for the 16th but have moved it to the 17th. 

Our students continue to shine in every area:

• Choir delivered an outstanding first concert.
  
  

• Football teams showed grit and tenacity on the field, supported by a phenomenal band performance.
  
  

• Volleyball brought intensity and heart, with the 8th Grade Lady Blackhawks battling hard against Euless JH.
  
  

Looking ahead, don’t miss the A Team Volleyball Tournament this Friday at 5pm and Saturday morning right here at Harwood. Let’s fill the stands and show our Blackhawk pride!

• Hat Day- Next Friday is Hat Day!  Students can pay  $1 during lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Students can pay $2 on Friday if they do not  

• Fall Dance – October 17th, 6–8pm. Tickets: $5 pre-sale / $10 at the door. Reminder: mums are not allowed, but decorated buttons are welcome. Here is a link to the buttons our cheerleaders are selling
