Good evening, Black Hawk families!

Although it’s been a short week, it’s been filled with exciting activities and celebrations.

This Week’s Highlights

• Open House Tonight: 5:30–7:00 PM (come-and-go). Meet your student’s teachers, visit with counselors in the library, and learn about how Harwood operates.
  
  

• Black & Blue Food Drive: Kick-off tonight and runs through October 3rd. Please send donations with your student’s 2nd period teacher.
  
  

• Student & Team Celebrations: Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade volleyball and football teams for big wins this week! Special shoutout to Zion W. and Zoey M. for making the Trinity High School play!

• Hat Day September 12th- Students can  pay $1  to wear a hat on  Friday. Wristbands will be sold at lunch starting on Wednesday.  Wristbands are $1 on Wednesday and Thursday and $2 on Friday.

Ongoing Reminders

• Replacement IDs $3 / Lanyards $1 (color by grade: 7th–White, 8th–Orange, 9th–Black).
  
  

• Students may not leave campus in the mornings to walk to McDonald’s or the Corner Store.
  
  

• Drop-off/pick-up: Please pull all the way to the gym; front entrance reserved for buses.
  
  

• Wednesdays = College Day / Thursdays = Spirit Day.
  
  

• Volunteer Fridays: Volunteers must be cleared through the district VIPS. 

• Support our teachers by preparing classroom materials (copies, sorting, etc.).
