Blakelock’s Reach For The Top season sadly reached its end at the Halton School Reach Championship. Mimicking the iconic game-show Jeopardy!, Reach For The Top is a fast paced trivia contest that pits four contestants against each other in matches consisting of over eighty questions.
The tournament took place on April 4th at Oakville Trafalgar High School, with Blakelock's Reach team earning themselves a quarter-final berth after success in two tournaments earlier this year. Despite their best efforts, Blakelock was eliminated after facing the formidable Iroquois Ridge High School, who took home second place later that day.

Winners of the tournament were Abbey Park High School, securing their ticket to the provincial finals. While Blakelock bid farewell to this season's competition, they left with heads held high. This marks their return to the regional stage for the first time since lockdown.
Blakelock is determined to make a triumphant comeback next year, led by the guidance of their beloved coaches, Mr. Petz and Mr. Ebbers.
