Blakelock's First OFSAA Gold!
Final score of the final game: The moment the girls won OFSAA!
As school was wrapping up for March Break, the Senior Girls Volleyball team made history with a triumphant first place victory at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA). Between the dates of March 6th and 8th, the T.A Blakelock Senior Girls Volleyball team played in St Catherines, Ontario against a number of teams.
Although the OFSAA games were far away, students at Blakelock remained spirited. Teachers and students were encouraged to tune in to the game on a live stream, bringing the Blakelock community together. The school was buzzing with news as the days continued and the team progressed.

The effort from the coaches and the team came together as they used their immense skill and team work to bring back an OFSAA banner, medals, and a trophy.
“After we won OFSAA, it really hit me...what we accomplished and the journey to get there,” Abbey Whittington said, when asked about how she felt after winning.
This is the first time a Blakelock team has ever won gold in OFSAA. Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team and coaches Ms. McAllan and Ms. Osmond on having a great season, winning first place, and making Blakelock history.
