The reason for this investigation was to see the different health benefits of golf. Another reason was to try and get more people to try playing golf as a way to easily get more exercise. The procedure was to turn on the laptop, go to Schoology, open the Citizen Science Research Investigation Project Checkpoint 2 document and click the hyperlink, read the article, find key information, and write my conclusion. According to Golfscape.com, the recommended amount of steps for weight loss is about ten thousand steps a day, and walking eighteen holes of golf will give you more than enough steps to reach that goal. According to BMJ Journals, “Golf can provide moderate intensity physical activity and is associated with physical health benefits that include improved cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic profiles, and improved wellness.” This investigation project contributes to the world of golf because it gives good reasons to keep playing golf and to start playing golf.
