Mean Girls the Musical

For our final TY module, we had to chose between theatre and stage, horticulture and art. I chose theatre and stage. At the start of the year, we held a vote on what musical we should produce this year. Mean Girls the Musical got the most votes. Soon after, we held auditions for the different parts of the show, both on and off stage.

My Part

I got the part of Janis, which I was very happy with. I'll also be taking part in some of the group dances. We had planned to film the show as well as put on a live performance in March, but unfortunately the Covid-19 restrictions got in the way. However, the people who still wanted to put on the show had online rehearsals, and we are now hoping to put on the live performance in the second weekend of September. We have been practicing our lines, songs and dances in school while having microphones on!
