8P3- Green Screen

Using iMovie, I created a news video using a green screen because my group and I wanted to make a video using a green screen, so we chose to make a news video with an interview section. We made the news video by using iMovie and editing the video clips to make our video.

During this process, I learned how to add a background to a green screen. I did this by watching a tutorial video on how to add backgrounds. I did this by following the steps of the video and then it worked out.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I created a goal for myself to make a video with a green screen and add a background, and I achieved that goal.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to use a green screen and add a background. I was able to do it by going on to Mr. Renner's website and clicking on the green screen and following the videos. These videos gave me a tutorial on how to add the background into my video.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the background we used in the video. The reason why I would change it is because it is the same background for the whole thing. I would make it so that there are different types of backgrounds in the video.
