Are you working by yourself or in a team? I'm working in a team with Jae.
What materials will you need for your project? Our cardboard project, and an iPad.
What is your plan to create in this project? A commercial to sell our carboard project.
What unique qualities will your project have? A funny aspect to the commercial.
Day 1. I wrote my list of 25.
Day 2. We wrote the script.
Day 3. We filmed the video.
Day 4. We edited the video and added sounds.

Using an iPad and a video editing software, I created a funny commercial because I wanted to make a not very serious or funny video that people could laugh at. So we made a funny part with the prop and how we used it.
During this process, I learned that video editing can be confusing. This is because the sounds were hard to put in and mute. The sounds were hard to mute because we had to figure out how to.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructer because I had to build my knowledge in video editing.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to edit our video. I was able to do it by looking at tutorials. I also had Jae help me find the app to edit on.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the background of the video. The reason why I would change it is because there were things in the background that were in the way and distracting. I would also change the way we filmed the video
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the marketing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in advertisement and video editing.
