Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team? In a team with Jae.
What materials will you need for your project? Makey Makey,
What is your plan to create in this project? Playdoh controller
What unique qualities will your project have? We can play google baseball with it.
Using Makey Makey, I created a controller with playdoh because we wanted to do something where we could play games. We also tried using aluminum foil.
During this process, I learned that playdoh is very conductive. Since I found this out I used aluminum foil since it isn't as conductive.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I choose to make this.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having to hold the poky thing. I was able to do it by using alligator clips.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the back of the controller. The reason why I would change it is because the clips kept coming out.
