Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project? An iPad, copy-right free images, microphone.
What is your plan to create in this project? I will create a voice-over video talking about my favorite cartoon characters.
What unique qualities will your project have? Some unique qualities my project will have is each character I mention will have 4 reasons why they are my favorite, it will also have a different topic from other which will make it unique.

I finished my voice-over and adjusted the time of the video.

I found copyright free images and added them to a video in iMovie.

I added my video to my website and then finished the reflection questions.

I rerecorded my voiceover and published my website.

My Movie 7.movUsing iMovie, I created a voiceover video of my favorite cartoon characters because I have many favorite cartoon characters which I wanted to share.
During this process, I learned how to add music and sound effects to a video.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I learned new things on how to edit videos in different ways while doing this project using different technology like the iPad.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding copyright-free images to put into my video. I was able to do it by going to Google and choosing the Creative Commons License and finding pictures of cartoon characters.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I said and how I said things during the voiceover. The reason why I would change that is because I didn't give good and detailed reasons why I like each cartoon characters.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in film editing. This connects to this career because it involves editing and putting together videos for entertainment and many other things.
