Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working by myself.
What materials will you need for your project? TinkerCad, 3D printer
What is your plan to create in this project? A duck that will solve boredom.
What unique qualities will your project have? It will have a Beret.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Using TinkerCad , I created a duck toy because I wanted to make a toy to solve boredom; and to keep kids quiet. I made this by choosing my shapes and putting them together.
During this process, I learned how to group item together. I learned this by asking a friend and looking it up.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I used a website online the correct way. I did this by not sharing information and being appropriate.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make things the right size. I was able to do it by watching tutorials. I also asked a friend.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I put the beret on my duck. The reason why I would change it is because it wouldn't fit right at first. I also couldn't get this to be the same size as the duck's head.
