Day 3- We cut out the car seat and put it together.
Day 4 - We finished the car seat and added a seatbelt.
Day 5- We made the back of the car and put pieces of support tape on.
Day 6- We added details and attached strings to hold up the car.
Using cardboard, I created a car because I had the most interest in making a car.
During this process, I learned that hot glue hurts and works better than tape.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to make decisions on how to design the car.
A challenge I overcame on this project was keeping the front of the car straight. I was able to do it by supporting the corners with tape.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we laid out the car. The reason why I would change it is because it was hard to keep together and support the back.
