What materials will you need for your project?
A computer, printer, and button maker.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I plan to make buttons/pins.
What unique qualities will your project have?
They will be different from everyone else's pins.
These are the 3 pins that I have. You may notice that there are 6 pins on the pin template sheet. This is because 2 of the pins did not come out correctly, and I gave a pin to one of my friends.
These are my new AI pins. The images on the pins were generated by an AI image generator. I used the one that comes with Canva.

Review
Using a button maker, I created pins. I created pins because lots of other people were doing it and it looked cool. You can make any amount you want, so that was an added bonus.
During this process, I learned how to use a button maker. I even made a video on how to use the button maker. It is on the website now.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used an AI image generator to make images that no one has seen before.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding good images to put on a pin. I was able to do it by using an AI image generator.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the images of the first pins. I feel that I should not have used popular memes and stuck with AI generated images. I like the Gigachad pin and Vote For Pedro pin, but the others were not as good.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in printing management.
