Reflection

• Using my iPad, I created a video about me. I made a video about me because I wanted people to know a little more about me. My video was about my top 10 favorite movies.

• During this process, I learned how to make a montage with pictures. I also had to think about what my top 10 favorite movies really were. Then I found movie posters for those movies and put them in my video.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a video. My project also connects to Global Collaborator because I published a video for the whole world to see.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding posters that filled the screen. I was able to do it by looking really hard. Eventually, I found some posters that had the qualities that I was looking for.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing. The reason why I would change nothing is because I did an awesome job and I have no way to improve on it. It is really the best that it could be.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Mulitmedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in video editing.
