Reflection

Using CoSpaces, I created a VR escape room because that was something that I wanted to do. I really like strategy games, including escape rooms, so I decided to make a digital one.
During this process, I learned how to make a digital escape room using CoSpaces. I also learned how to import 3D files into my CoSpace world. I also had to learn how to download 3D files.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made an escape room by myself. My project also connects to Global Collaborator because I published a video for the whole world to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting all of the 3D chess pieces to go into my CoSpace world. I was able to do it by replacing most of the pieces with animals. This is why the king and queen are the only chess pieces on the board.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many endings I had. The reason why I would change it is because I really think that I could do a few more.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game design.
