7p7- Circuit Playground

Using Circuit Playground, I created a night light and a Hot Potato game. We made those things because our Wheel of Fortune was not working. We were going to make a wheel and everything!

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. My project ties to Innovative Designer because with the Hot potato game code, the lights were yellow, while our colors were blue and red.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make a Variable. I was able to do it by looking it up on YouTube. There were so many videos on codes that I cold have done on YouTube!

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many codes that I did. The reason why I would change it is because I did not have many codes in the end. I would add at least 3 more codes.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School because I coded all of the codes that made my circuit playground do certain moves.

My project connects to careers in computer programming. My project connects to careers in computer programming because I made all of the codes for my Adafruit Circuit. I was as well a researcher because I learned things to help me with my job by searching them up.
