Using Tinkercad, my computer, and my I-pad I created a 3-D print of the Eiffel Tower because my brothers birthday is coming up. I have decided to make him this gift because he loves the Eiffel Tower. I think that he will love it.
During this process, I learned how to use Tinkercad. I as well learned how people make 3-D prints of stuff using 3-D printing websites. 3-D printing seems fun and like a job that I would like to do.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I did not take someone else's design and claim it as my own. I as well created a school appropriate design to be shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what to use for the beams on my project. I was able to do it by asking another classmate what would look the coolest. We came out with popsicle sticks!
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my final project. Instead I would make a really pretty candle holder. The reason why I would change it is because I make a lot of candle's.

My project connects to careers in Biological and Scientific Modeling. My project connects to careers in Biological and Scientific Modeling because I use a 3-D printer to create parts that will make peoples lives easier. This little Eiffel Tower definitely made my life easier by being able to give it to my little brother!
