7p6- Virtual Reality

Using Cospaces, I created A V.R version of the Civil War. I made it because I enjoy learning about history. The Civil War is just one of my favorites.

During this process, I learned how to code all of the objects to do things such as firing off is someone is impatient. I as well learned how to use the V.R headsets. That was the coolest part.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I used non copyright images.

A challenge I overcame on this project was  figuring out how to change from world to world. I was able to do it by going into  the coding section. There was actually a button that said "Go to scene....."!

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my scenes. The reason why I would change it is because a lot of my scenes have not very much decoration. I would just add more tree's and animals and possibly more scenes.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in coding because I coded all of my objects to do different things and animations.
