7P4- Augmented Reality

Using CoSpaces, I created a story about Rapunzel because it was a funny idea. I also made it because it would be cool to remake a popular Disney story. And, everyone else was doing a similar thing.

During this process, I learned how Augmented Reality worked. I always wondered how you could have AR in real life. Then again, there are things like the Oculus Rayban glasses that have AR in them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because everything is posted on a website that anyone on the Globe can see. This also connects to Knowledge Constructer because I learned how to use the Merge Cube using YouTube and Google.

A challenge I overcame on this project was tying to make turkey dance. I was able to do it by searching it up on google. I also experimented until I found out.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much time I spent on things. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't finish in time. I would also change up my story a bit because mine was a little fast paced.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. That is because we used different forms of media to make these.

My project connects to careers in Oculus by Meta because they use AR in their VR headsets. This project also connects to certain video game designers. It also connects to 3D artists because they can use AR to see the dimensions of their projects.
