Reflection

• Using The iPad, iMovie, and Creative Commons images, I created a video showing off my new interests because I want to show how I have changed since last year. Another reason I did this was because I wanted to make a better video. That is because last year's video was not very good.

• During this process, I learned how to make a better video. I also learned how to use less stuff to make the video better. It also makes it less overstimulating.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I wasn't told exactly what to do. It also connects to Global Collaborator because this website is shared to the world.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out what to say for my voiceover. I was able to do it by looking at the requirements and seeing what I needed to say. Another challenge I overcame was making sure all my pictures were copyright-free.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my pictures. The reason why I would change it is because I thought of some better ones after I was almost done. Another thing I would change is the amount of pictures. That is because the video is a little short.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. That is because I need a screen to see my project.

• My project connects to careers in movie directing because they also make and edit videos like this. Another career this connects to is a professional editor. That is because they use programs like iMovie to make videos, like I did.
