7P6- Virtual Reality

Using CoSpaces, I created a time travel story because it would be cool. I also made it because I wanted to Nerd out about history. The last reason I made this was because I think time travel is cool.

During this process, I learned how to make an engaging story using CoSpaces. I also learned how to make VR games. Lastly, I learned how to make things follow the player.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because this is put on a website that anyone can see. This project is also connected to Knowledge constructor because I watched a video to learn.

A challenge I overcame on this project was making the dinosaur chase you. I was able to do it by watching a YouTube tutorial`. Another problem I overcame was making the portals work. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my Sparta scene. The reason why I would change it is because there are not many people. I would also change the portal in the Dinosaur scene because it ended up not working.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. That is because you can only see this on a screen.

My project connects to careers in VR game development because they make VR games like I did. This also connects to careers in Meta Quest. That is because they make VR games and VRs.
