7P1- About Me Video

Day 1: Today we made our website and started on our 10 questions.

Day 2: Today we got our iPads, got into iMovie, and started finding pictures.

Day 3: Today we finished getting our images and added titles and filters 

Day 4: Today we added our sound effects and background music.

Day 5: Today we did our voiceovers and finished up our video.

• Using iMovie, an iPad, Creative Commons images, Music, and Sound Effects, I created a video about myself and my interests because I enjoy all of these things.

• During this process, I learned how to make an entertaining video for the public using iMovie.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because it is all digital and anyone can see it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding good music that fit my video. I was able to do it by looking through the catalog and trying out many different types of music.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change What I made the video about. The reason why I would change it is because using a variety can get confusing at times.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Video Editing because they use tools like iMovie to edit their videos and make promotional material.
